Happy New Year! The Vista Friends & Newcomers Board and Committee Chairs have been busy planning lots of exciting adventures for 2022. A picnic and grand view at Double Peak Park, fine dining at Peon in Carlsbad, a fun fund-raising auction, and a winery tour and tasting at Brookings—and that’s just a start! The Board has changed its monthly meeting day to the first Thursday of each month so we can be more nimble in our planning. Elizabeth DeBoer will be working with Linda Mueller to create a directory that includes photos to help us identify and get to know each other at a glance. This will be very helpful as we continue to grow with new members joining monthly! Our first general membership meeting/breakfast of the year will be Thursday, January 13th at 9:30 at our beloved Pegah’s. I hope you can make it and we can all celebrate the start of a new, exciting year together.President’s Message
